Invico Capital Corporation oversees the management of $40 million of capital across two distinct private equity fund offerings.

Invico Capital Private Equity L.P. (the “Fund”) was founded in 2006 by Invico. The Fund was closed to investment in June 2006 and subsequently deployed its capital, totaling $10.5 million under management, across 12 portfolio companies over a 14 month period. The Fund focused on direct investment in companies operating in Canada’s unconventional (oil sands, services and exploration), conventional oil and gas and alternative energy sectors. The FCI Energy Opportunities Fund (the “FCI Fund”) was created to exploit investment opportunities afforded through key relationships and the expertise of Invico and our partner First Capital Management Ltd.

The FCI Fund seeks to establish concentrated investment positions in private energy sector companies with a unique investment proposition or niche in the following focus areas:

• Oil and gas resource plays, both conventional and unconventional
• Commercial application of proven technology to enhance recovery from an identified asset play
• Stranded or underexploited asset plays
• International asset plays with proven but overlooked or underexploited hydrocarbon zones
• Energy service companies with ability to commercially implement unique technology
• Exploitation and development opportunities offering significantly lower risk reserve additions than pure exploration plays
• Early stage, highly scalable exploitation or extraction opportunities
• Opportunities to further seed successful existing investments and prospects or assume key investment positions in quality companies through potential grey market opportunities

The FCI Fund was initially launched in July 2008 and currently remains open for new investment.
