Invico Capital Corporation is an award-winning investment fund management firm based in Calgary, Alberta, that provides alternative, private equity, and private debt capital solutions to assist high-quality companies in making strategic acquisitions, finance capital expenditures and growth programs, and support working capital requirements. Founded in 2005 the firm has over $4.2 billion in private capital under management.
We are currently looking for a Fund Operations Analyst. As a key member of the fund operations team, the successful candidate will have an established track record in accounting, analysis, or finance, and be technically proficient. The skills and responsibilities required for this position will be new to most applicants, and we need some who will be flexible with taking on, learning, and adjusting to all new tasks assigned by the manager.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, reconcile, and post fund closing data.
- Calculate distribution and redemption in accordance with the Offering Memorandum (OM) and Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA).
- Reconcile with trust companies and internal accounting books and analyze any variances.
- Maintain correctness and completeness of data and supporting documents.
- Assist in the enhancement of operating policies and procedures.
- Assist in Financial Statement audit, tax slip issuance, and due diligence reporting.
- Assist with special projects as required.
Education and Experience
- University degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years’ working experience in finance industry, preferred in a back-office setting of a dealer or brokerage firm, or a distributing alternative investment fund.
- Advanced user of MS Excel (this will be tested).
